We are currently seeking a Female Senior Support Worker who lives in the Falkirk area and has a Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as the role involves travelling between service users' homes.
Due to the nature of the role, we require a female candidate under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to people in their own homes, and you will also lead and support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to the people we support by:
Managing some day-to-day areas of operations including risk assessments, audits, and compliance with health and safety.
Supervise, mentor, and develop Support Workers, undertaking supervisions.
Ensure our Person-Centred Support and Enablement model of care is embedded throughout the service.
Liaise with social workers, families, and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support.
Support with on-call duties
Deliver care and support to cover when required, this includes supporting with Personal care and hygiene, Meal preparation and serving, Medication prompts and administration, Catheter care, Companionship and emotional support
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while supporting a committed team.
Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7
Driving is essential for this role due to the travel involved between service users' homes. Mileage is reimbursed at 30p per mile.

What We’re Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are:
SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care – or willing to work towards this qualification
Friendly, caring, and compassionate
Organised, responsible, and reliable
Excellent communicators in spoken and written English
Committed to delivering high standards of care
Able to work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends
Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car
PVG Requirement
This role is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. A PVG check will be required for successful applicants.
