We provide person-centred outreach support, helping people with learning disabilities and autism to live independently, build confidence and remain active within their local communities. This role offers the opportunity to work one-to-one, supporting an individual to achieve their goals, develop life skills and enjoy meaningful activities.
💬 About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
Provide 1:1 support to an individual living independently within the community
Support with community activities and social opportunities
Assist with meal planning and batch cooking
Promote choice, independence and wellbeing
Build positive relationships and encourage confidence in everyday life
Maintain accurate support records and documentation
Work in a person-centred way, ensuring the individual remains at the heart of all support provided
This is a fantastic opportunity to support someone to live the life they choose whilst making a genuine difference to their day-to-day wellbeing and independence.
🕒 Shift Details
This is a 17-hour per week position, with shifts currently taking place on:
Monday: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Wednesday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Thursday: 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Friday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Please note that support is not usually required on bank holidays or during periods when the person supported is away on holiday.
